have this band ever actually written a song that wasn't brilliant?

playing about 40 of them in a row last year at dingwalls suggested not.

"One man's stupid is another man's genius"

I had to google/youtube this to figure out it was The Thermals, and I have this record.

Perfect? I wouldn't go that far, Daniel, but I don't mind if you do. :)

There's a shop called Hardy Carpets in Truro.

I always think they should use this as a jingle.

They do!

Pfft, do you never listen to Pirate FM?!

More Parts Per Million

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Fuckin A/TBTBTM

YESSSSS

aye

I love it

and

i got my tooth chipped whilst listening to more parts per million. which isn't of much relevance, except that i still love tharrrrt song. which is the first song of theirs i heard.

well observed.

I heard this song before I was aware of the Thermals

was it ever on an advert or something?

(Though I think I Hold the Sound may be my fave Thermals track)

It's not a patch on

A Stare Like Yours. The greatest love song ever penned. Or at least, one of them. It says nothing new, but it says nothing new VERY LOUDLY. So it's OK.

pretty much!

i love the thermals.

The Thermals

Hahaha they're soooo good.

Apparently their drummer left this month. Another one. Hope that doesn't threaten the rumoured new material.

Ah

According to Pitchfork the new album is nearly done anyway.
