Im off to do a MSc at Swansea Uni in September

cardiff to swansea would be about a 3 hour commute each day

(on the train). Swansea isn't THAT bad ;)

3 hours!!!!!

I thought it was just down the road?

takes an hour on the train

40 mins ish by car (longer at rush hour)/

About an hours drive

from centre to centre I'd reckon. Similar on the train.

lines and line and lines and line and lines and lines

and line and lines and lines and lines and lines and lines and line and lines and lines and lines and lines and lines

Don't they have

like student flats or anything? :\

student flats

Im trying to avoid other students mostly.

I only have to attend Uni two days a week, the rest of the time i will be working (probably in England) so Im flexbile about where to live.

What is Cardiff like?

cardiff is good, basically.

and near to bristol and not too far from london.

cardiff is nice

a bit small as cities go but there are some good clubs etc, and great shops once you get off the main street. LOADS of students though, about a tenth of the city's population.

If you're

only there two days a week, Cardiff is a good option. You might find it better to get the bus, even, and it's not too long. If you can drive, it's even easier.
