I like The Woods a helluva lot. I'm not a hardcore s-k fan though, so does that mean my opinion is invalid?

Not that The Woods is wrong per se, but turning into the Groundhogs just seems wrong for their dynamic.

So yeah, it's Dig Me Out.

'the hot rock' hasnt even been mentioned yet!

i only discovered them on 'the woods' really, which is an excellent album, but i love 'the hot rock' with a frankly quite ridiculous portion of my heart...

On The Bad One without a doubt. I like 'One Beat' too, but their other records I tend to skip right through.

They are all great

but I tend to alternate between The Woods and Dig Me Out.

I listened to the s/t at the weekend for the first time in ages. I'd forgotten how brilliant it was.

The current order:
The Woods
Dig Me Out
Call The Doctor
The Hot Rock
Sleater-Kinney
All Hands On The Bad One
One Beat

The Woods was such a great direction for them to go in when it would have been easy to stay in roughly the same place. Plus the last 2 tracks are amazing and probably my favourite bit of recorded music ever.
