I always get an upset tummy too. Every single time. And then on day two I'm doubled over in pain. It's ruined half my weekend this time :(

I'm not fond of pumping my body with drugs when it's not crucial - so - natural remedies? Tomorrow is going to be bad.

As for natural remedies -
I know of a cream (can't think of the name of it, but it's available in boots) - you massage it into your lower back...I think it's lavender based.
Pilates & or yoga stretches also help.
Hot water bottle - (obv).

I take drugs, loads of them, and eat my own bodyweight in chocolate/ice cream. It's bad enough that way, I have no idea how people cope without painkillers.
Also, isn't the cramps supposed to get "better" if you go on the pill? I'm just curious cause I think I've heard some people say so

But hot water bottles/hot baths can help...
The pill's quite good at not only shortening the damn thing (in my case, anyway) but also making it less painful...
Appreciate the not pumping drugs when not crucial though.

Has different effects on different people, plus depends on what pill you're on I believe... But think for the most part it helps :)

doing some exercise generally helps, then have a bath and be grunpy in your pyjamas drinking tea. do you get emotional too... i start crying at anything from the news to eastenders.

The pill seems to do strange things so I get emotional halfway thru, not actually at the time.
I'll try the exercise though. It's becoming quite tedious these days. I'm going to be so busy at work tomorrow, but will have to make a dozen loo breaks just to double over while the pain subsides. Urgh.

before i was the on the pill
i got such horrid cramps that the only cure was curling up in a ball..for some reason with my tummy scrunched and my legs against my chest it got rid of all the pain!
now that i've quit the pill i've gotten a way oilier face and haven't gotten my period :(
(i'm not preggo! i think it's just been the combo of quitting the pill, having been sick for weeks on end, stress of visa stuff, time zone changes, etc. so now it's a waiting game (for the past 2 and half weeks)...
i wish i could go back on the pill but there's no where to get it free in Manitoba..the one place had to stop doing it a few months back.
