Bloody hell

I still can't believe this is all happening down the road from me. Good to see Soulwax and Hercules & Love Affair are playing too. This is going to be sooo good.

it was so wet though

with nowhere to sit down, kind of ruined it. apart from hot chip, who were staggeringly good.

The mud was pretty fucking dire last year

But then again it really was pissing it down all night. All it needs is for it to not rain and it'd be amazing. And as it's in July, hopefully a dry night won't be too much to ask for

And besides, hopefully they'll do a Field Day and attempt to rectify last year's issues

you cant rectify rain

on the subject of field day, has any line-up been announced yet?

No, but you can take measures to ensure

a similar downpour doesn't cause quite as much disruption. There were no metal/wood/whatever pathways laid down between the tents last year, for example

(and as last year's set up consisted mainly of three huge tents, it is feasible that a shit load of rain need not necessarily ruin anybody's night)

ah, i see

by tents do you mean performance tents?
or can you camp for one night?

Big, performance tents

Big tops, if you will

Fucking hell

Same weekend as Melt though.

Actually

When is it?

Saturday 5th July

4 days before my birthday *hint hint*

why do i need to google it when its right here?

foo'

you are right though. i want in.
how much?

A lot :(

About £47 for a ticket

BUT

I've just paid something like £30 just for Bjork, and I've been wanting to see The Field, Booka Shade (and now Hercules & Love Affair) for a while, so it'll be totally worth it

The Bjork tickets

for Hammersmith were about that after booking fee!!

i wont be able to afford it for ages

will it sell out quickly?
:'(

SLAGSMALSKLUBBEN!!!

Ace. I'm going to stalk that band. Forever.

I am actually really tempted to go to this.

Me too

Which is silly as I'm -£900 at the moment.

cannot wait for this!

i bought tickets for it last year and couldnt go either. what a waste. this time I WILL BE THERE!!

That's a very good line up

And I don't even like electronic/dance music all that much. I'd be tempted to go by Bjork, Battles, Foals and Late of the Pier alone...

Do it, broseph

There are BUMPER CARS there too. At least, there was last year

I went last year

after having no sleep the night before. Went on the dodgems, watch SMD and Hot Chip then passed out in a puddle. Had a terrible cold for the next month....can't wait for this year though!

I LOVE BUMPER CARS!

except i hate it when people bump me, it hurts :(
i just like driving around

just realised SLAGSMALSKLUBBEN are SMK!

they wre brilliant at dot to dot.

Bjork in Stevenage...

that's all I have to say about that.
