Tomorrow I have the pleasure of spending the day in Leeds. I will have a good few hours of quality drinking time to use before attending The Fall / I, Ludicrous show in the evening.
Can anyone suggest any good pubs suitable for afternoon / early evening drinking?

Adelphi on the corner of Dock Street- turn right down lower Briggate and keep going, its on the left just over the river.
The Swan- off Briggate at the top end, down the alley opposite Muji. That's a good one.

THE ANGEL. It's a Sam Smiths so it's £1.60 a pint.
Avoid downstairs because it's full of abusive locals, but upstairs it's a treat.

Wasted so many Fridays after work in there when i lived in Leeds. Eight pints for just over a tenner. Sweet!!!!!

I'm all for the cheap beer and the passable ambience but I always feel like I've caught something when I leave...
It's great when you work in a shop on briggate though

Best indie bar in town (imo) - Oporto on call lane. Friendly staff, wicked atmosphere, taste beverages. In fact I'll be there tomorrow afternoon!

is a good shout.
And the Victoria Hotel on Great George Street is nice. You might see some Emmerdale people in there too if you're unlucky.

North bar is ace too. So much good beer.
Also, is Milos still open? I used to drink in there quite a bit. Bear in mind i haven't lived in Leeds for four years, so i probably don't know half the bars anymore.
Also, the Dry Dock is best in summer, when you can sit on the grass, smoke and dehydrate yourself.

Milos is still going, I think, I have no idea where it is but I know I was in there recently.
