Those 3 being Silent Front + Herzoga + Not In This Town...

Due to 2 family illnesses, here is a slightly amended line up from that originally published, with some very poor descriptions that don't do the excellent bands contained within any justice, their myspace links so you can find out what they actually sound like, and some approximate times - bearing in mind these may change slightly on the day

COME DOWN EARLY or buy a ticket to avoid disappointment, the Buffalo Bar is small...

N.B. Prices on the door are: £7 full price/£6 NUS or with flyer/£5 members.

BILGE PUMP 11pm
Jazzy, bluesy, raucous, fractured rock with obtuse, surreal and biting lyrics. Like Shellac crossed with The Fall crossed with Slint.
http://www.myspace.com/bilgepump

LORDS 10.15 pm
ZZ Top meets Beefheart meets Robert Johnson. Bow down to their might. At once.
http://www.myspace.com/lords

THE NOTORIOUS HI-FI KILLERS 9.30pm
Proper stoner blues rock as it was meant to be played i.e. by the bastard lovechildren of Kyuss, Beefheart, Black Sabbath and Hendrix.
http://www.myspace.com/hifikillers

WHO OWNS DEATH TV 8.45 pm
2 ex-Million Dead-ers play loud and fuzzy but tuneful rock, imagine The Jesus Lizard playing Kyuss covers of Joy Division songs. With Billy Corgan singing. All covered by Future of The Left.
http://www.myspace.com/whoownsdeathtv

SILENT FRONT 8 pm
Silent Front distil everything that’s good, bad and ugly about The Melvins, Fugazi and Sonic Youth and make it good, very good and, if not beautiful, at least very attractive.
http://www.myspace.com/silentfront

HERZOGA 7.15pm
Dissonant noise winding around tight rhythms and infectious riffs i.e. wrongpop that Mr Malkmus himself wouldn't be ashamed to have written
http://www.myspace.com/herzogaband

NOT IN THIS TOWN 6.30pm
Imagine a world where, if you stand in just the right place, you can hear the shops playing old PGMG, older Gossip, and even older Huggy Bear all at once.
http://www.myspace.com/notinthistown

followed by a Silver Rocket club as usual until 3 or 4 am.

I will try and keep the facebook event wall up to date on the day with times etc. See http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=8332169887
