a bunch of mildly-employed hipsters in like the West Town/Bucktown area, who monthly or so all get together and ride their bikes (lots of then specially-modified bikes done especially for the douche rally) around in circles on Milwaukee Avenue and connecting busy streets, like hundreds of them, keeping traffic from moving at all. They do it to "protest cars". And what do they accomplish with it? They block up traffic, keeping said cars out and idling for half hours extra at a time, creating extra pollution. Clever.

None of them have actually given the cause any thought, they're just engaging in conspicuous cause-support.
