I was gonna fuck the h8rs and make a favourite Chromeo songs thread. But then I realised - Everyone who loves Chromeo loved them for Tenderoni, Needy Girl, Fancy Footwork etc - they don't even bother with songs like Mercury Tears and Momma's Boy Live

It all sounds way to much like pastiche of 80's Prince and things like that to ever be 'great'. Some cracking songs on 'Fancy Footwork' though.

'mercury tears' is just less immediate by being a ballad and not having a hook. i think they need to develop that geekier computer sound and they could get more interesting.
Probably not, I'd say...
enjoy them as a singles band, and pastiche-ish fun.
