i always find their music a bit poor which is a shame as they always come across as likeable and funny and the videos are fun to watch...isn't enough to merit buying a record...anyone got anything good to say about the new one?

Their first album but I haven't purchased the second
Has anyone watched the videos on youtube of them interviewing people at the NME awards? It's genius, especially when people don't get it ie. Agyness Deyn, Kate Nash

Live, they are excellent. Just amazing. Their first album is killer, although not been compelled to buythe second one. Yet.

2nd one is quite different from the first
They are trying too hard to move away from the sound of WLAS, and in doing so put in things that really don't sit well with their songs (WAY to much synth, for starters). There are still some really great tracks, but it lacks the energy of the first, which lets it down.
They are lovely and hilarious people, though.
Closing the shows last year with 'End of the Road' by BoysIIMen just great.
They have come a long long way.
And clearly dealt with some heartbreak along the long long way.
it's a fantastic record, don't place all your eggs in the first-album basket.
i like them
and having heard their latest album now, i think it's at least almost as good as the last one, and it's probably a grower, so who knows how much better it'll get at repeated listens.
