my favourite band ever.
will never forget reading 1999 where the tent was moving like a giant lung or leopard lounge in fulham where the place was torn down with plants sailing over the mosh pit...
i loved them and still do, anyone else feel this or have any stories?
I liked them.
Really good fun.
Sadly I don't think they ever played in Paris...
They were fucking fantastic
I missed them play Middlesbrough with 'A' because I had to go on the French Exchange :(
Yeah I loved 'em
Wodge once gave me a bottle of water at a gig and I kept it for ages.
ace band
still listen to them now. Love HI4H too.
Loved them
Never got to see them live though.
Remember that TOTP performance of Fairweather Friend? Class
that
totp performance was great! saw them open for foo fighters once and they were great!
yesss!
i was at that leopard lounge gig too! what a night! i watched my mate crowd surf whilst i was in the vip balcony bit. that was the last gig there before it was ripped down wasnt it?
i remember also payne stewart died that day.
i seem
to remember a sofa going across the pit at some stage, or something equally bizarre. and then getting on a tube with loads of other kids holding bits of plastic palm trees as souveniers, much to the bemusement of people on the train...
yes
Wojtek just asked me for a guestlist for frYars tomorrow. That is my Symposium story.
first band
I ever saw, have to say they were better when i was a teenager though..
I remember
they sent out funny flyers that changed colour in the heat.... haha. Fairwell to Twilight remains a tune too!
Am I imagining it
or did they do a tour of the US with Deftones and come back a metal band?
they supported
the Deftones once in London, they also did the Vans Warped Tour.
I still miss em
why
did they split in the end? thought they seemed to be gathering some momentum.
They did get heavier at the end.
Killing Position ruled.
I did hear three demos that were unreleased once, two became Hell Is For Heroes songs. 'I can Climb Mountains' was one of them.
Great bnd. They should do a come back one day. I'd travel down to see them!
As a fan of HIFH
It was so tedious hearing people shout 'symposium' at their gigs, as if on hearing this they would play sympsosium songs.
Don't know much about sysmposium but i keep meaning to investigate.
I preferred silversun
and honeycrack
