and where can we hear it?

I nominate 'Bass Linear' by The Humanity. It's bleeding brilliant. Definitely the best track i've heard this year.

the futureheads - beginning of the twist

i know it's quite popular and everyone knows it already but it's seriously good.

Agreed. I listened to it four times on the bounce on the way home from work.

Probably the best thing they've ever done, imo.

yes

felt a bit indifferent to it first but its really grown on me

victorian gentlemen's

club 'ban the gin'.
got it as a free download from puregroove today - it's ace-tacular.
and, importantly, welsh.

yeah,

it's quite old but it's the only song they've got with a tune and today was the first time i heard an actual recording of it rather than live where they say 'we better play the one with the tune' before playing it last. not criticising mind, i really like all the other non-tune ones they've got.

I'm incredibly out of touch

so probably that Blake's Got a New Face track by Vampire Weekend. I've only heard it in my girlfriend's car, and her dad's car, but from those two times it's pretty catchy and I suppose great.

one

of those songs that sound absolutely mental to me after a night out. like when i heard "spazz" by the elastic band in my friends' shop.

all those handclaps...

the tallest man on earth

'Number 6' by Death Ray Trebuchey

or 'Fuck You Yankee Bluejeans' can't decide.

this is

the first time i've heard jam on bread. this is a good experience.

on a scale from

one to REALLY GOOD EXPERIENCE it's at least a 9, right?

with EXTREMELY

PLEASANT EXPERIENCE at 9.1, i'd go with um, a 9.1?
cheers for the tip-off.

Bass Linear

was surprisingly good.

I'd say Dokkoise House by Anathallo is the best song I've come across recently (although it was released last year I think), beautiful stuff.

Probably...

'Illuminated Red' by The Accidental.

Mystery Jets

Hideaway, the air raid sirens just get the juices a flowing, also the album is awesome! erol alkan can certainly produce!!

Last Shadow Puppets - The Age Of The Understatement

Really looking forward to the album.

I heard a Battles song the other week

Which I really liked but I can't remember what it was called and it probably wasn't even new... :/

yellow mice sleep

by Blank Dogs
i've been listening to this song over and over and it just keeps getting better :)

Maximum the Hormone

What's up people? Sounds like a japan version of system of a down on pcp.
