However, I was only introduced to them Morning View era. One of my mates who I know through certain other parties has seen them numerous times and that gig sits at the top of his pile too. :(
BTW I am talking the 2005 ACLotM tour, not last years slightly disappointing Light Grenades tour.
Ah, i only went to
the Morning View SECC tour and it was gash. This opinion, however, is probably only cos i'd seen them spit out half of SC.I.E.N.C.E., some off Enjoy and the best bits of Make Yourself at the Barras. And also cos i don't like post-Morning View material.
I heard the ACLOTM show was lengths better than the SECC one i went to though

Well, they had 6 or so guys playing the drums
at one point and they pretty much exploded the SECC with Certain Shade of Green. It is still up there.
I might also add the gig I went to see at Strathclyde Uni as it was mint too - Mull Historical Society, Aberfeldy, Grim Northern Social, Belle & Sebastian DJ set... very nice.
