Listening to Slaughter of the Soul for the first time in ages. Amazing album.
They seemed to get the heavy/melodic balance just right unlike most comparable bands (e.g. In Flames who too often veer into cheese).

Yeah its amazing that album

They're playing in Derby this summer too.

Darkest Hour and In Flames badly ripped them off something rotten.
