Went to see them at The Brixton Academy last night and I have to say they were fucking amazing. Showmanship, performance, tunes, presence - makes me think the records (whilst good) don't fully do them justice. Scott Weilland is a very good front man and a brillaint foil for Slash. Bring on Stone Temple Pilots and I can't wait for Velvet Revolver to come to these shores again. Anyone else into them?

Average rock band
whose 2nd album is better then their first magainly, still nothing to write home about... about 20 years too late.
Yeah
have heard all the singles but not the albums so far....I like it.
I reckon Weiland is leaving soon going on from some comments Slash made in the article from yesterday over there --------------------------------->
I was there tuesday night
and thought they were fucking brilliant. Scott Weiland really put everything into his performance which was inspiring to see and my boyfriend pretty much exploded with excitement at seeing Slash.
One of my top gigs in terms of atmosphere, only annoying point was when the 2 enormous skinheads(no offence to nice skinheads) started throwing themselves about, crowdsurfing and then forcing their way through the crowd repeatedly. I'm 5'3" on a good day and don't stand a chance against 17 stone antisocial twat intent on smashing into people as much as possible. Then when the band started playing Patience some other guy picked a fight with them and security chucked them all out. Yay!
Other than that, everyone was really happy to see the band and it was an excellent evening.
i can't imagine Slash being anything less than amazing
even in bad songs his playing is goose pimple inducing
Slash was the nuts!
Totally agree - I felt priveleged to first hand witness his guitar playing!
at work some little kid ordered his autobiog
but some of the middle aged women want to censor it and stop him from having it.
i think i knew everything about slash by the time i was this kids age
