came across these chaps recently, they're somewhat reminiscent of the apostles of hustle, the pop group and a rather disjointed hot chip
i haven't quite made my mind up about them yet

they're decent

id like to se em live

yes

They didn't sound like any of those

when I saw them two and a half years ago (assuming it's the same Post War Years, clearly) I've heard their name bandied about so I trust they've developed since then.

the due to play camden crawl

amongst a few other high profile gigs. I really like them

We played with them at Dublin Castle a couple of years ago

and they were bloody brilliant. Best band i've ever played with.

they played my old night

and were staggeringly tight.. songs go brilliantly in all sorts of unexpected directions..

love these boyos

cannot wait to see em again at Camden Crawl. are they releasing anything?

yes

their debut 7" single 'Black Morning' should be released on 5th May on Chess Club records. Includes B sides 'You and me both' and 'Latin Holiday'.

All up on their myspace.

Truly awful

Some of the most vile, conservative, unimaginative crap I've had the displeasure of being subjected to. And how on earth do they sound like the Pop Group?

I think

you are way off there chief. Brilliant pop music with enough in the way of ideas to keep me happy.

we played with them

at Old Blue Last a few weeks ago and i really liked them!...thought they sounded quite a bit like Tom Vek. Where did he go?

funny you should say that

they supported tom vek at b'ham academy 2 a couple of years back. welllllll good gig.
i think tom vek's recording more stuff? although thats what people have been saying since 2005

^
