played one of the worst organised gigs the other night, no soundcheck, stupidly small stage in the window of a pub..soundman was a complete dickwad..was dire.
so just wondered if people know of any good ones.. location no problem (well as long as they in the UK) :)

my band had a very similar experience
on saturday night.. the promoter booked NINE bands ASSUMING that at least three would pull out. idiot. he didnt care about the bands one bit, he was just waiting for the money to come in. the sound guy was eating his dinner during the first band and snogging his girlfriend during the second band. he didnt have a clue.

what a tit.. i asked the soundguy where we played what the situation was with the stage.. it was the smallest thing i have ever seen, 3 band bill all their equipment loaded on top of eachother.. i had to stand on a table. :s
