Literally just discovered him today and immediately obsessed.

What's the best album to buy first?

Thinking of going to see him on Sunday - is he good live? Anyone know who the support is?

Best live show i have ever seen!!!

Please see him and be amazed. Start with Fantasma, but to be honest, his latest Sensuous wouldnt be a bad start either. saw him at ATP at a time when i was feeling really uninspired about music and he came along and showed me i can still be amazed. sorry to hype it up so much...

the atpvs the fans

sensuous show was incredible. it was insane how all the visuals and lighting all synchd in, with all the big mouth doing the words, MENTALLL. in fact i think he was the first mibbie in 3 of the best gigs that weekend, him, battles and les savy fav.
incredible.

get and go

Point is my favourite of the 3 i have. Sensuous is the new one.
good live show - hi-tech japanese action!

and...

Point of View Point is my fave tune....

fantasma

is a masterpiece. go on, get it.

^^ this

oh yes

One of my alltime fave live shows

Start with Fantasma and then get Point. Then go see him and rock out.

I like...

He's weird and cool and Japanese. I'd love to see him live...
I'd say Sensuous is as good a place to start...

Fantasma

Mindblowing.

The two remix CD's

Of Fantasma are well worth getting too.

Has anyone got/heard

his pre western, japan only albums? He released about 3 or 4 albums before Fantasma.

yeah, i have

they're not anywhere near fantasma, point or sensuous

i heard em all

a while back....when i went to see him he played a couple of tracks off them....he did a pretty famous football song...that one is pretty good....his wife's stuff is good too

Thats one of his best songs!!

Ball in Kick off its called. Features a sample of the PE teacher from Kes (I think) when they are playing football saying: "Its the fair haired, slightly balding Charlton to kick off". Brilliant.

point is best

all are fucking good tho. fantasma is more derivative of MBV and stuff, and the production is less sweet

hhmm

not sure about that...mbv? not most of the tracks....unless mbv stands for mental bloody voopers

the latest one is top

but yes fantasma ftw!

he's playing london in august :D

where?

shep bush empire

i saw him there in 2002 or so... with interpol supporting

cheers

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:):):)

i wish i'd seen or in fact known about him at ATP vs fans

i blame alcxxk for telling me about him after the gig. so i might have to go to this.

awe

some

Heh

My grandad is called Cornelius. Fact.

69/96 is great

not the best place to start but don't forget to go there after

Fantasmus!!!

fantastic album

FANTASMA

.... one of the best albums ever!
