so of course i love 'em. their gigs are rad fun. they sometimes feel like one big rowdy singalong, coz so many of those songs are classics now (to aussie music fans in the 20-40 age bracket, anyway). tim rogers is a true legend in australian music circles. incredible songwriter.
I'm an Aussie too, now living in London, and whenever I feel mildly homesick I stick on one of their albums... Probably has a negative effect and makes me more homesick, but damn me if they're not a whole lotta fun.
And the bloke above is dead-set correct in saying Tim Rogers is an Aussie legend...
it's just the Aussie in you coming out. Happens to me occasionally too. I was at a crocodile farm in South Africa the other day, and one of them was so big I caught myself saying "crikey!"
i used to love
hourly daily, havent listened to it for many moons though...
saw them supporting
lemonheads years ago...they were great.
never bought a record though. recommend?
hourly daily maybe
it was the one i listened to most anyway

in a second-hand shop yeeeeaaars ago. It's got some good stuff on it - Good Mornin' especially. But "love" them? Nah. Sorry.
Those old Aussie whorey rockers. Yeah, of course.
What are they up to now?
Ah, Australian indie slash rock is absolutely brilliant. I miss it.
AM I thinking of the right act? I'm tired. I should log off.

thinkin of the right band!

It's a dead-set sin...
that these guys haven't received more acclaim.

Oh God...
I used the phrase 'dead-set' twice in one post.
Apologies to those with an appreciation of the English language
I guess...
