How is it that my current phone is the shittiest phone I've ever owned?

There is no point to this thread.

What phones have you had? And what was your favourite?

I really liked my 3410 at the time :)

I'm using 2 at the moment though so I'm on my 4th and 5th, got my first one when I was about 13. I would find pics but can't remember what they've all been called.... Just that three have been Sony Ericsson and two have been Nokia.

It looks like it would be shit to text on.

Also: when they termed the phrase 'brick' in reference to mobile phones, this is EXACTLY what they were thinking!

brick? it's really slim though

and the buttons aren't bad for texting etc, it just that nothing works like i want it to, you can't change anything, etc etc etc

oooooooh

that's a shadow in the photo!

my bad

i feel like a right 'tard now

my brother has that phone

it looks pretty nice

Not including the fact that I've replaced my current model twice

due to my devastatingly poor relationship with gravity, I think I've had five. I always always keep them until they die, which roughly translates to me losing/spilling water on/dropping them.

My favourite was that Nokia...8210, I think it was? I still miss that little phone. The new poncy ones are rubbish. Especially as they don't have Snake.

ive had three

Nokia 3310
This other nokia I got when my ddad was finished with it
This other nokia I got of my stepmum when the phone company sent her two by mistake

I think the one I have now is a N73 or something like that.

Cool.

2

and only because the first got stolen. My 3310, about a year ago. Who the fuck would steal a 3310 in 2007? So now I'm using my sister's old 3410.

8, i think

5510- i got it for christmas along with my first bra. yes, last christmas.
3310
3410 briefly when my 3310 died
some brick-like motorola thing that was on 3 when 3 first came out
7210
6600? 6---something.
n80
n82 (the best phone ever, apart from the 3410 perhaps, which was amazing.)

sorry, 5110 not 5510

that and my current phone (n82) are the only phones i've had that haven't been hand-me-downs, although the 3310 might not have been. who can remember? so much has happened in the howevermanyears i've had a mobile phone.

no 9!

when i was 16 i got a motorola flip phone. no, 10, i had a sony ericsson white flip phone after that. then i had the 6---something.

yeah, definitely ten

god knows why, i just had everyone's phones when they were done with them.

Four

I have no idea what any of them or called. Or even what make they are. The first one, when I was 11 I think, had a ridiculous aerial that probably weighed more than the actual phone. I used it once and then realised I didn't have any friends. The one I have now I don't turn on because if I do the phone company rings it and asks why I never pay them. This probably isn;t a good idea.

I'm on my fourth

Nokia 3310
Nokia 3310
some shit Sony Ericsson one with a dodgy joystick
Sony Ericsson k550i

Hardly any compared to most, for some reason.

Four

#1 Siemens A55
#2 Motorola RAZR
#3 Motorola RAZR bought off my friend for a tenner
#4 Samsung E900

#1 was my favourite.

None.

Never. Ever.

My work gave me one once, but I gave it back when I left. It made me feel sullied.

My hero!

Nokia 3310 - First design icon of the 2000s?

(Was it the 2000s?)

Anyway, hella beats ipod.

Xpress on covers ftw!

I feel as though I'm the only person that never had it.

1

It's a Sony Ericsson K320i and it's pretty basic, but it's good. I don't need fancy because I hardly use my phone. None of my friends text me because it cost an extra 45 cents to text the UK from Canada. I'm not worth 45 cents:(

^ practically my mobile phone twin

well the first 2 anyways, we skipped the 3210 which is like a miracle and ur one upgrade ahead of my latest sony :(

I've only had two

currently 3100 since about 2003/4, and before that I can't remember, nokia with a pink case and a non colour screen. I smashed it up quite violently about a year ago, very indestructible things. It might have been a 3410, I just looked at the pictures.

4

Nokia 3210
Some shitty cheap sagem phone
Some shitty cheap ministry of sound phone (yes im cool)
Sony Erricsson K510i

ps

your current phone is horrible. why would you go away from nokia?! it only spells trouble :(

Sony Ericsson

are generally ace, although nothing beats Nokia N-GAGE.

^

Nokia 3210
Nokia 3310
Panasonic GD55
Nokia 6230
Nokia 6280

I don't care much for mobile phones. Worst invention ever.

Also, i've had the same number for ten years, which is a pretty mean feat.

I don't know why people ever change theirs, really, what's the point.

I've never changed my number

except for when I've lived in different countries obviously, but I've kept my first one all along

HI FIVE

.

Nokia 3210
Nokia 3310
Samsung A300
Siemens C45
Panasonic GD85
Nokia 6630
Nokia N91
Nokia N95

I bought a couple of really old Nokia bricks from a car boot sale a few years ago but they were a bit too big to be cool.

1

It's my dad's old phone. It's really old but supposed to be quite valuable.

I hate mobile phones. I refused to get one, but my dad gave me his for practical reasons.

O shit I forgot one

in a rush to get a new phone and swept away by the 3g fad, I got this cheap Motorola, be warned its massive

Motorola C975
http://img.gsmarena.com/vv/bigpic/moc975.gif

Dimensions 114 x 53 x 24 mm, 112 cc

performancewise it werent bad but is the worst phone i have owned curely cause it was MASSIVE and embarrasing, but still it played video? This was before the Sony Ericsson T630 when I was poor.

Erhm, loads. Fucktons.

Philips Savy
Nokia 3210
Sharp Gx10
Sharp Gx20
Sharp 902
Nokia 6230i
Samsung D500
Samsung D600
Nokia N80
Nokia E65
Nokia 6300

That is what happens when you work in a phone shop for 4 years. I still have most of them except for the Gx10 which I sold to a mate.

4 I think

The cheap red pay as you go one.
The quite nice Nokia one.
The really good Sony Ericsson one I loved but sadly lost.
And my current Red Motorola one which I don't really like at all.
I'm eligible for a new one and have been for three months but can't be arsed to go to the shop and choose one...

Lots

but my first was this one....

http://www.gsmarena.com/ericsson_ga_318-99.php

You had to remove the battery and insert it into a separate charger to charge it.

U couldnt SEND text messages?

only recieve? WHAT THE FUCK!

I love this phone!

:)

About 9 or so

Some really old crappy Nokia
A number (around 4?) of 32/3210s (I kept breaking them)
Samsung E330
Samsung Z500
Motorola W220 (briefly for the battery life)
SE K810i

The 32/3310s were very good for what they did. Of the rest, the K810 is easily the best - all the others had really annoying problems with them.

i'm going to go with 13

but that includes a few insurance ones

6, I think

a massive breezeblock-sized Trium
a cheap, crap Alcatel
a Motorola which rarely worked
a Nokia
another cheap, crap Alcatel
and now a Sony Ericsson W810i

The Nokia was my favourite. It had multicoloured lights on the side that flashed whenever someone phoned/texted. It did it when the alarm clock went off, which was cool because it was a bit like waking up inside a disco.

But then I broke the bastard by dropping it in a glass of water. I quite like my current phone as well, though.

Four I think

Nokia 3210
Samsung D500
Samsung D600
Sven Goran Ericsson W880i

Lots, dunno how many...

Trius (??), it was shit
Nokia 5110, amazing. Probably still works.
few more random Nokias
Motorola V3x, supposed to be amazing but wasn't. After the 100th time it switched itself off I threw it in a lake when pissed, not a great idea.
an old Motorola V3, lasts FOREVER
Sony Ericsson w850i (current one), it's really cool, nice camera 'n mp3 player, currently on the decline after 6 months of ownership.

Why are new phones always so rubbish??

5110 ftw. Snake rules.

4.

Nokia 3210
Sony (can't remember the exact make. I got it free and it was rubbish.)
Sony Ericsson K30 something.
Sagem my551X (which has the shittest battery life ever.)

10 or so

first one was some nokia brick, back in 96. then a motorola, maybe another nokia, a sony that was great, another couple of nokias, another motorola that was shit, some cheap lg shit, a couple of sony erricsonn's. that was so interesting

I got my first one when I was 19....

and that was nine years ago now (!!??!!111!!111), I think I've had 8 in total.

i've only owned 3 and i'm almost 26

all nokias, all given to me.
