Apparently it's called Rising Down and is being released at the end of April.

Worryingly the guy from Fallout Boy guests on the album. Having said that Game Theory was one of the best things released in 2006.

Thoughts, opinions?

First opinion is

The Roots'**

Second is that i'm looking forward to this, although i have had the same doubts as you re: Fall Out Boy appearance. I really enjoyed Game Theory and The Tipping Point - nicht so much Phrenology. And Illadelph Halflife, Things Fall Apart & DYWM??!!!? all speak for themselves

in my head i had roots'.....

It's weird because Game Theory hardly had any press, but i think its an incredibly strong album.

i think it's

definitely better than The Tipping Point & Phrenology, but not near the heights of IH or TFA. Still, i'm curious to see what they've done with this.

And i agree, i didn't see much press for Game Theory at all. I saw the tour they did for it - not hugely impressed tbh

nah, they lost it during/after Phrenology

Game Theory and Tipping Point were distinctly average at best. Don't Say Nuthin' was a pretty good single though.

apostrophes have never been my strong point

and this despite being a journalist

i've lost all patience for Black Thought

whilst he's quite good in terms of flow, and reasonable in terms of lyrics (although more in the "not embarrassing" rather than "clever/memorable" camp), the guy has the most irritating breath control i've ever experienced. Just gasping for air at the most inopportune moment. Seriously, the guy either needs to do some aerobic exercise or work out a Tyondai whatsisface style "moving away from the mic" technique
