they sound nothing like each other. I'm guessing you haven't heard many of either band's songs. I could be wrong, but that's my guess.
i admit
i've only heard the singles, but they really didnt want to make me hear more. to me, in both bands the 'harmony' singing tries to disguise the lack of melody by being too loud in the mix, and that dominates the song, which i dont enjoy. i think they sound a bit bandwagony. just my opinion

They're very good. Saw them live and they were excellent.
All the songs on the ep are fantastic, which bodes well. Probably better than Los Campesinos, although I've only heard one song which was average.

...Quite good. Saw them supporting of montreal a while ago and they were good and they've grown on me a lot since then. Their EP is good, and their single "I don't wanna..." is a good pop song. They're not revolutionary, but they're good.
And whoever it was that wrote that they're "double gash" or whatever bullshit it was, shutup you sound like a knob.
