forgot to add:

hooray!

If it's half as good as Senile Animal

then I'm going to be happy.

I just dribbled a bit

More two drummer breakdowns please.

Am I the only one

who prefers Melvins with just Crover's distinctive drumming?

Looking forward to Nude... though.

Billy Fish?

As in Billy The Fish?
I hope it is.
More songs about footballing half man/half fish centre forwards please.
Mr Chipz - I presonally love Dale Crovers drumming, on it's own, with Coady, whatever. Senile Animal is one of my favourite Melvins albums - it's only one (ok now two!) albums with the dual drumming attack - whats not to like?
The Senile Animal gigs were the best I've ever seen the band (and I've been going to Melvins shows since the early 90s - yes I'm a late starter with the band).
This is the best news I've heard today - thanks Mr Summers.

mmmmmmm

this means tour, tour = good times + deafness.

best melvins song?

i love honey bucket. that shit is powerful.

It's actually about shitting too!

In a festival toilet.

Euro tour in the 'Fall' apparently

whenever that is. Crazy americans with their 'Fall'. Two drummers is good. One drummer is good. At Primavera they played Spread Eagle Beagle with three drummers and Jared singing "Vietnam Song" and it was good.

I miss Kevin Rutmanis a bit though. Incredible bassist.

Aye, don't get me wrong

They're really awesome with two drummers and live it's pretty intense, I just find the drumming more straight-ahead with the two of them on record. Be intesting to see if anything's changed now they're more used to playing together.

If anyone's interested, Toshi's blog has a few posts about Melvins recording sessions. Good if you can read japanese I guess, for those like me who can't, there are a few photos.
