ended my game pretty much every time without fail.
I got hooked on this
when it came out for the PSone.
Must have played it for about 2 weeks constant. Never got passed the 3rd hospital though. Really, really hard to progress.

the special scenarios come up. Like a helicopter lands in your hospital full of burns victims and you have to turn them away at the door. So funny watching 5 dying people walk calmly out the front entrance.

i work in an nhs planning department and we are in the process of building two new hospitals. i will suggest this at our next meeting and see how it goes.

I had the PSOne version
I baught it and was amazed how addicted I got to it, played it constantly for literally weeks and never completed it!!!! Then it got damaged :(
I loved this so much
Although the original Theme Park still has a place in my heart, as does the original Sim City, and my favourite simulator game will always be Transport Tycoon...
I used to think it was rock hard, and couldn't get past the 4th or 5th hospital - but I dug it out again a year or so ago and found that I was able to get to the penultimate level in under a day. Still, great fun.
There was a game that came out (or is coming out soon) that's not done by the same people but is meant to be a sort of "spiritual" successor to it, isn't there? Done by the same people who did Rollercoaster Tycoon, I think.

God. It was amazing. I wish there was a fan community making levels for it still. When I finished the Deeper Dungeons it felt like I'd finally ended my childhood...
