I ordered it off Amazon a fortnight ago and it's still "unavailable" and thus, late.

b) I live in Newcastle. There is precious nothing in the way of music shops that sell something which isn't well known. There are a couple (mentioned above) and neither of them had even heard of it, and gave me the look of "get the fuck out the shop with your funny questions, you dick".

still M.I.A then... and the poor guys didn't even have any themselves to sell for most of their tour either.

Have their own official site? DIS seems to be turning into it.

as I kinda knew my crap HMV and Zavvi wouldn't have any good music in them. I hope this gets sorted soon fo people who haven't got it its a treat of an album.

Youthmovies are in desperate need of sound tracking strategies :)

I got mine from Nottingham HMV a couple of weeks ago.

Try RPM, they'll be the most likely to have it. Also there's Alt Vinyl or whatever it's called near the carling academy.

Tried new and used on amazon or play.com at all, there were a fair few for about 8 or 9 quid the other week?

I was back in England for a week, two weeks after it came out, and I checked around all 8 Brighton shops that I knew- none of them had it. "There's a problem with the distribution", they all told me, "we've yet to get a single copy."
Just fix it before mid-June, when I come back, yeah? I've been waiting for this thing for ages.

they had copies with them when they played the oxford show at least, but it's a shame for the other places that they ran out pretty quick.

Subject: 'Good Nature' is actually available in shops now...
Body: Okay, so there was a fuck up and some people have been finding it difficult to buy our album in shops.

This has been pretty distressing for us but I have assurances that from next week it should be a lot easier to get hold of.

Without going into too much detail it was basically down to an error resulting in every HMV in the country getting twice the stock they ordered in the first week of release. This then had the knock-on effect of there not being enough remaining stock for all the other shops that had placed orders... So more CDs were manufactured, which understandably took a couple of weeks.

As it stands now, all shops waiting for stock should have copies next week. There is also stock in the warehouse of the distributor, so any and all record shops can place orders as normal.

...also, 200 HMV's across the country have or had copies of the album, so it's worth checking them, although from what I gather many only actually had 2 copies.

Anyhow, if you're told in your local record shop that there are still distro problems then please politely tell them otherwise and get them to place an order.

Good eh?

Tour was amazing & disastrous at the same time (more on this soon) and we're all feeling pretty broken, so don't expect any more tours for a little while. Having said that, we do have a bunch of one offs lined up and some festivals TBC, so we're not disappearing just yet.
