Apologies for the self-promotion but I cannot resist.
Offset is a 2 dayer set in a beautiful forest location 30 minutes from London on the Central Line. We'll be putting on well over 100 bands over 8 stages, focusing on exciting new bands and the artists that influenced them.
Over the years we've put on Biffy Clyro, Martin Grech, The Duke Spirit, Art Brut, Eighties Matchbox, Jeremy Warmsley, Million Dead and hundreds of others, and tickets are always cheap as chips! Earlybird tickets for this year will be about 30 quid for a full weekend.
There's also the organic food, art, funfair, kids area and even a zoo...more info at http://www.offsetfestival.co.uk (sign up for the mailing list if it sounds of interest, we're relaunching the website later this week)
SoundsXP presents a marvelous event with SEVEN bands @The Brixton Windmill -- with a free BBQ and all at the ludicrously cheap price of £5 in advance (http://www.wegottickets.com/event/27772)
...the bands:
SIX NATION STATE
SCREAMING TEA PARTY
THE DULOKS
OLYMPIANS
REFLECTIONS OF A BULL
THE CHIARA L’S
SPILT MILK
As for more long term... IndieTracks is good if you like trains and twee bands. End of the Road is a bit bigger and has some good folky stuff and Truck is a lovely setting and has lovely extras like cheap ale, food, etc.

Balls.
This looks great.
uh huh
so why balls?
'Balls' as joyous exclamation!
As good as any, I'd say.
wow
never heard 'balls' used as a joyous exclamation before, only in relation to something going wrong/being annoying.
!
offest looks pretty darn good, I'm pretty up for that, £30! brilliant!
Just been digging a bit,
The Brainlove alldayer looks to be worth a pop at 8 nicker (price of some normal-length gigs in this toon!).
This could be intermittently decent:

The welikedangerouspop alldayer was last weekend so...arse.
Ah, I'm not very good at this. Obviously not 'down with the kids'.
