Unusually, almost everything in this DrownedinSound news story is true, despite the April Fool’s Day time stamp: Weezer’s new album is called Weezer, it will be out on the 16th of June (UK!) through Interscope and the CD is red.
So, what else is there left to say? Well, there is that almost – the first single pulled from the album could either be called ‘T_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _R’ or ‘Pork and Beans’ depending on which Rivers Cuomo ‘blog post you believe.
Then there’s this – the first image of the band to arrive in 2008.
