Strawberry jam.........

BEANS

they count dont they

sure they do

but you'll need cheese to go with them, chico

where sells it cheaply in this city??!?!

I live near Costcutter on Argyle Street but i try to avoid them...plus the inflated price tag is absurd

i used to live near there :D i hate that place!

you can also get it at the china town place.. usually i buy a giant jar when i'm home in the states and bring that back with me. i could be an importer/exporter.

my great aunt used to

buy the 1kg jars for me and bring them over from Toronto. But then she died, so that sucks.

I'll check Chinatown for it tomorrow. You may now be the cause of me becoming grosely obese

:D

they only have the little jars in chinatown but it's probably cheaper than costcutter. most ironic name of all time..

Perhaps not?

Is there ambiguity to their name? Perhaps we're misconstruing it and their name can be deciphered as such:

Cost: they will rip you off

Cutter: they will slash your face

They may have missed the ampersand out when writing the sign, so it should actually be Cost&Cutter?

In better news a Tesco has opened up along the road which appears to be financially screwing them as they are no longer 24hours. Never thought i'd say it for the monopoly but HURRAH!

haha yay!

i really do hate that shop. i almost reported them once because a child, i'm guessing about 7 years old, totalled up my items and gave me my change. wtf! and my friend used to rent a flat that they owned and apparently they're horrible landlords too. i hope they go under!

yeah, the children

used to manage the till when i went. They ad-lib the prices too: a vegetable samosa ranges from 59p to £1.09, depending on their mood. Turds.

marmite on toast is brilliant, only if made correctly

beans on toast is easier, and a good selection of hard cheeses on toast is also great, at the moment we have a aand anion and chive chedder, and a black pepperered leicester, as a combination it's dreamy, especially with a sprinkling of parma reg on as well!

Making marmite on toast correctly?

For me = margerine whilst the toast is hot so it all melts into it. Apply alot of Marmite and make sure it reaches all corners of the bread, pulling parts of it dampened with the margerine up with it.

Is this correct enough?

pretty much spot on

it is crucial that you get the marg to melt, and then churn the marmite around with the marg, mixing in mits of loose toast.

you guys are wrong 'uns.

Marmite on toast should just be that. Marmite + toast, no butter/marg to mess it up.

Is that a challenge?

Right, outside school at hometime - if I'm not there in 10 minutes, start without me!

you're close

it should be butter though, not marg. Salty salty goodness.

it's pretty good with butter

but still, i'm on it with marg"

is "salty goodness" another

favourite topping of yours?

oh yes

but i like to cook and serve it really.

it's a bit like creme brulee in that regard

Melted cheese and BBQ sauce

I don't care that none of you like BBQ sauce

i do, i do

though i normally chose woucester or ketchup or both, or tabasco

CHEESE

what type of cheese?

specifics, people!

mild?!?!?

MILD?!?!?! you people make me sick!

what kind of peanut butter?

you goddamn hypocrit

is there only one kind of skippy?

kangaroo steaks, nom nom nom

it's a viscous substance

squeezed from his nipples. This is why the speciality is so expensive.

crunchy peanut butter and marmite

although cheddar and baked beans with tobasco is good too

try it

then get back to me tomorrow. You could do it this lunchtime or whatever, but you'll need the evening to think of an apology for tomorrow.

i'll need to purchase

the necessary ingredients. I'll be sure to try it - my two favourite toppings combined sure would be efficient :)

oh it's good

it's REEEEALLY good

Leftover spag bol

Leftover chilli
Salsa
Sweet chilli dipping sauce
(Yeah, I'm weird, but try it)

mmmmm

cheesey beans....

or tinned tomatoes n loads of salt

cheese, sundried tomatoes, basil

basically a toast pizza.

Mature cheddar, unmelted.

Simple but amazing.

Vegemite!!

its so much better than marmite

or maybe Pesto

or Tahini

tahini, urgh

that's like, the WORST topping for toast.

what about more toast?

you'd never know when to stop, and then die of stomach explosions

PEPPER

just pepper. and marg.

mashed avocado, salt, pepper

sweet lord that's good

Chocolate Spread!

One of these days I'm going to grow up..

Tuna

I've not had this for years, but I rememeber going through a period at about 10/11 eating a lot of Tuna on toast......
