Haven't seen a thread on this yet. I'm a bit disappointed really, though not entirely surprised. I've only heard one or two Guillemots songs and I didnt think they were great. I like the first Editors album, but the singles from the new one were shit. So, opinions etc? are Guillemots actually crap or was i judging too quickly? will Editors make more or less sense in an enormo-stadium? 45 quid a fair price for that line up?

Would rather be seeing Elbow support them in Germany...
I'm not sure about Guillemots, but as for Editors - I mean, they're not *bad*, but they're not a very exciting, original or inspired choice. A band like R.E.M. has a real opportunity when choosing support to make some different, interesting choices and this is just a bit blah. Like you, I quite like their first album but am just not very excited about seeing them support my favourite band.
Having said which, I shouldn't complain too much I guess...could be a lot worse! (Memories of MCR supporting Muse...)
