The Jeevas are a brilliant new band, led by Crispian Mills, with Andy Nixon and Dan McKinna formerly from Straw. Their live set is fantastic so catch them in action this October. Also dont miss their new single Virginia, released on 16th Sept. It's a fantastic rocky sound which leaves you wanting more. check them out & see the tour date listing on www.thejeevas.com

Re: The Jeevas

yes, I have to agree they are really rather ace.

Lots of lovely bootlegs, photos, reviews and guitar tab at my site, for those that haven't heard the band, and can't get to the gigs - www.thejeevas.co.uk

Re: The Jeevas

More fuckin' e-teamers. You're all over Playlouder too.

Re: The Jeevas

Hey Brio - I've visited your site, it's cool. There are some great photos and reveiws on there. Were you a Kula Shaker fan, or do you prefer this more rocky vibe from the Jeevas?

Are you getting to any of the tour dates, I cant beleive they're doing eighteen dates!

Re: The Jeevas

I was a kula fan, yes. I've only heard the Scary Parents and One Louder singles yet - i want to hear the rest of the album before i decide which i prefer. I have to say, I never really liked the indian-vibe in kula, so i think i will prefer the jeevas (yes, i am aware there was a lot of indian music influence - i prefered the "normaller" stuff like Hey Dude :o)

I might go to either Leeds or Sheffield. I'm not really sure at the moment - don't have my uni timetable yet, so will have to wait and see!!

Re: The Jeevas

hey dude, you heard the jeevas one louder ep,yeah??

any chance of selling me a CDR copy of it?

i don't fancy paying $35 for one track i don't have

( the track i want is RED )

r.s.v.p - a.s.a.p.cheers

Re: The Jeevas

I'm not an "e-teamer" - i like whoring my own website about the internet :o)

Re: The Jeevas

Brio - I'm going to Sheffield and Leeds - so I might see you there? What is your own website address,is it a music site? I wouldn't mind having a look since we're into the same music. I'm gonna check out HMV 2morrow in the hope that they have Virginia on the shelves, if not it may be the official release date of 16/9 after all. Must get the new Supergrass release while I'm there, 'Grace', It's supposed to be brill!

Re: The Jeevas

It's a jeevas only site (thejeevas.co.uk).

As far as I know it will be the 16th - I looked on Amazon and they changed it from the 2nd to the 16th, and on this site it's listed then too.

I can't believe we got shouted at for discussing The Jeevas on a Jeevas message board. It's such a funny world that we live in!! LOL

Re: The Jeevas
