Is the Kitchen Tapes worth getting?
Or should I be looking out for vinyl versions of their other stuff instead? Please re-release these albums on CD!!!

I would avoid it as an entry point
its a live version of songs from there first 2 albums as i remember and the sound quality is poor
The two albums to go for are:

pity they seem to be out of print
guess I'll just have to download
Do you have Slits - Cut?
it's similar and probably even better
or Au Pairs - Playing With A Different Sex
maybe these two will tide you over till you find the Raincoats albums

there's no way you'll find them on vinyl, i've been trying for years. well, if you do i'll be sickened. you should be able to get copies of the cd, if deleted, from second hand record shops... or dare i say it amazon market place?

really don't bother with much else... but, if you like them, listen to new bloods! their album came out last week, and, well, it's girls singing with violins over spacious songs...
I have them on vinyl from the early 90's re-release
I guess they are due a new re-release in the next few years

the albums are about 40 quid on Amazon marketplace :(
However, some reviewer on Amazon says they are available in the Rough Trade shops new. I don't get why this would be the case when out of print elsewhere but has anyone noticed this?
