The Bournemouth behemoth finds another home at The Amersham Arms. Down there, the club has been messing up the education of art school students since 2006 and has become the trendiest night out in a city of predominantly orange women and oxygen thieves. Live bands, guests DJs and a crowd who definitely haven’t been hit with the ugly stick

It’s not hard to be big in Japan, at least statically speaking. The average height of a female woman reaches just over 5ft in the land of the rising sun, compared the average female height in the UK, 5.4ft. A sparkly new night ironically named, Big in Japan, has vertically challenged crowds since migrating from the south coast late last year, and has already forged a reputation for hosting the most exciting and often downright bizarre live acts, for free, every thursday at the Amersham Arms.
