I finally got my Converse today - despite much effort at the Post Office.

Anyway...

They really hurt my feet :(

My upper-heel in particular.

This happens to me with most new trainers and ALL new shoes but I thought Converse would be different, seems not :(

Is it that I have weirdly shaped feet or do Converse do this?

Or maybe they're too big/small???

they're quite high cuffed tho init

grease up yer heels and ankles with vaseline. Super solution!

I'm not trying to bum them!

Christ! You're filth so you are.

If I was being filthy

I would have suggested Swarfega

Pffft.

Tufega is the real stuff.

mine hurt quite a bit

and for a few months as well, then they started falling apart. I think i had the wrong size though.

You're a freak.

I never have any trouble with Converse.

harsh

:(

but you don't need to tell me!

it's not like this is the internetz or something and i don't know you...

ok

sorry and it won't happen again?

you fool

converse are horrible. Theyre not cheap. they get soaked in the rain. why didnt you just pick up a nice pair of leathers for 10 quid more. WHY!

...cause you never told me

in my 'Should I buy Converse thread?'

you utter cuntface.

LOLLLLLL

sorry chump. How much did you dish out for them? I got a realy nice pair of nike capris for about 30 quid a few months ago.

thirty big ones

and u realise you meant to call me champ

easy mistake obviously

*chimp

I've only worn these new'uns about three times previously

and over the past two days I walked all over two cities in them. Bad idea.

when i first got mine

they were pretty uncomfy. You get used to it though. They are fine now to walk about in but anyone who says theyre as comfortable as other trainers are deluded.

comverse are horrible to get used to

if i recall. I'd suggest buying some of those sticky-heel-protector things. They got me through some rough times :'(

kids these days and their crazy gadgets....

(what sticky-heel-protector things?)

I dunno, they're like these sticky-backed things that you can stick to the heel-guard on your shoes

and it takes the pain away. These may just be really thick hospital plasters that my mum's nicked from work though (which would probably work just as well).

Imma invetigate around the shops tomorrow.

Maybe I'll just cover my heels in layer upon layer of plasters...

they are not proper trainers

they are poncy fashion shoes

I have two pairs that are four years old, and still not completely comfortable.

Is it like bleeding blister pain?

Or muscular pain?
Get insoles if it's an achilles or plantar fasciitis problem.
Get heel guards if it's not, or blister plasters til they're worn in.
