Yep, me and two mates are starting an indie night at the Bread and Roses inbetween Clapham Common and Clapham North stations. It's called Record Breakers ("The Queen Is Bread" and "Mincing The Night Away" got rejected, sadly).
At the moment it's just us spinning tunes in a (very good) boozer that's open till 12, so it's not a club, but we should be putting on a band or two in future ones (it's monthly).
Still, south London is a desert for this sort of thing and it'd be good to get a few DiSers there.

I might pop in
Am not gonna be able to make it
but the Bread & Roses is a very good pub. Good luck!
what kind of music are you playing
???
Well I'm probably the least 'indie' of the three of us
And my bag is bulging with YYYs, Shins, MGMT, Vamp Weekend, Velvets, Bowie, Blur, Eugene McGuinness, Peter Bjorn & John, Sebadoh, Walkmen, Sufjan, Johnny Cash, Pulp, Von Bondies just to name a few.
^^^ Nice mix of obscure
and Crossover/mainstream!
Hard mix to get right but u have potential to not be a pretentious indie wank or a topshop haven!
can't make it tonight
but I do need to check out the Bread & Roses on an indie night, not least because I've been informed the pub does Staropramen Dark...
yeah i think it does
it's a good boozer
Dammit!
First indie night in Clapham since I moved there and I'm elsewhere.
Get invited back!
Once a month, man
once a month...!
Must. Read. Posts.
