what's the best way to consume rum? Mojitos? How exactly do you go about mixing a mojito?

this would normally be the procedure of choice

but you see I haven't been drinking for a few weeks and am quite nervous about passing out or something.

I'm afraid it's not an option

someone has left the rum in my house so it was FREE, and I'm sure we can agree that all the best drinks are. Besides, I'm not great with dark spirits. They make my head go funny.

I've got two bottles of Kahlua and at least one bottle of vodka in my room at home in Cardiff, but I'm not there at the moment.

Ingredients

You need: rum, vodka, apple juice, copious amounts of sugar, and a sprig of mint. I may be missing something though...

REALLY? Do you think it would be ok to just mix it with apple juice and something fizzy? That's what I do with vodka when I'm not in the mood for caucasians

dark or medium rum is preferable

but I reckon it could be pleasant enough with the white stuff. Might get less of a hangover too with a bit of luck.
