yeah, it's pretty good

the two live tracks on the UK version are a bonus, I guess.
It's not unlistenable, but it's their weakest, and The Red Album should be much better, in a prefect world.

me too

I even think beverly hills would be good if it didnt have the cheesy backing vocals

ah but

this is when i get into trouble, i think the green album is shit... really shit

How?

Why!
What!

perfect*

the live version of butterfly

is sacrilege

I like Perfect Situation..

but the rest is absolutely awful - especially beverley hills and that best friend one

those two

are definetly what bring the album down
what the hell was rivers thinking when he wrote best friend!!!

If you mean...'started well, then got

progressively worse' I'd be inclined to agree!

OH, YOU!

It's not that bad...

The worst songs are on maladroit for sure.. "Gothic flavour/how i miss you"

NO VARZZZ!!!1!!!

burndt jamb

is fucking great!
even though it is a bit, "we need an island in the sun type tune for this album", it's still ace.
not as good as island of course...

make believe...

is an abortion of an album.

green and maladroit are just pretty good.

oh no wait...

i meant pretty shit.

my favourite phrase

and one sentence review, ever.

thank you.

Fall Together

and living with out you are the best songs on that record.

Burndt Jamb isn't fucking great. and you know it.

i like this is such a pity

on make believe.

I think slob on maladroit is the worst song thats on any album. However the acoustic version is good.

I like the record a lot

So did a lot of people at the time it came out. Amazing how people lose the courage of their convictions once a lot of people start mouthing off!

I think it's good

It's got a couple of absolute howlers on it, but ignoring those there are some really good tracks on there

my problem lies in the fact that the songs i like

are all rip offs of songs on the blue album. it's not the worst album in the world, but it is a complete cop out.

It doesn't start well

when you have to skip the first track.
It's a terrible album, but perhaps one that Rivers needed to write. It's full of apologies and reflections on friendship but the music's just...bland. Apart from the singles I can't remember any song on there. Compare that to Blue, Pink and Green where I know all those songs, riffs, lyrics, all of it.
I have mixed hopes for the new one, it'll probably be dog shit again. I hope it isn't, I really do, but fuck, there's only so many times I can be disappointed by one band.

It's an album that you'd expect Rooster to make

Compare and contrast, first and last:

Buddy Holly, Beverly Hills
Only In Dreams, We Are All On Drugs
Surf Wax America, My Best Friend
