preface: Ghost-riding, frequently used in the context of "ghost-riding the whip" (a "whip" being a vehicle) or simply ghostin', is when a person puts the car in drive or allows it to idle and then the driver (and passengers) of a vehicle exit while it is still rolling and dance beside it or on the hood or roof. Ghost riding is one of the latest trends to be popularized by hyphy culture, which originated in Oakland, California.
Everyone loves to ghost ride their own or their friend's whip from time to time aint nothing wrong with that. Good harmless fun it is: you know when you're driving in your car/SUV/pick-up and decide to step outside for a while, yes, whilst you're moving......

I wish people here would Ghost Ride their or their friend's whips from time to time. Maybe we could organise little Ghost Ridin street parties for the whole neighbourhood to enjoy. I can't help but think we could learn ourselves a lot from our African American brethren.

yeah
I can see this catching on in Bromley. I worked there for two years and the kids would probably love a bit of mindless distruction. They did when I was there anyway; Friday and Saturday night was shocking. And I live near Holloway and Camden. The problem is these Bromley kids are just fucking stupid.

:D
some mate i used to work with tried doing this in a car park in Reading last year. he ended up fractuing his wrist as he jumped off the bonet with a sudden realisation that his car was going to crash into a metal post. luckilly the adrenaline had kicked in and him and his mates stopped it before anything else happened, i don't think he even realised he's done any damage until the next day.
i've occasionally been tempted to try it, but it seems like a very silly idea.
It's exactly this type of negative thinking which is bringing our country down!
That's why we never win anything - Tennis, Football, Ghost Ridin The Whip.....the list continues.
