That Wine Gums one has been inexplicably and rather wonderfully re-introduced into our lives. Can we have the R Whites Lemonade one back please too? Perhaps even a house version of the song?

There's a video in our house

that's so old it has an advert for Walker's Crisps...WITHOUT GARY FUCKING LINAKER IN IT.

Possibly the best advert ever:

Old school Woodpecker Cider advert from the early 90s......

MAXWELL HOUSE FLYING SAUCER AND CUP

(i think it was maxwell house?)

real classic shizz that was!

WOW REMEMBER THAT

ADVERT BACK THEN, AND THERE WAS A GUY IT WAS REALLY FUNNY, MAN I MISS THE OLD DAYS. ADVERTS! NOTHING BETTER THAN ADVERTS!

fUCK.

I've turned into Prole.

You know what is worse than nostalgia?

Setting up a scenario by which a poor man is duped into watching you take a shit.

Ah,

I remember that succesful duping scenario. Happy days.

The Trebor mighty mints advert with the puppet show

and the dancing. That was good.

Um Bongo

And what's more

a while ago I was watching some excellent film taped off the telly in the 80s (possibly Explorers or the Go-Kids) and there was this mega-gay 7up advert starring Joey out of Freinds.

?this

is priceless.

What about the one where a really grumpy northern bloke

buys his son that 'state of the art' racer bike, then looks through the window (unbeknownst to his son), as his son admires his new Raleigh Equipe, and says....

"I still think that seat looks like a rarezur blaird!"

Fucking classic.

I believe he says: "I was right about that saddle, though."

Yellow Pages, I think it was.

Yeah he does actually.

The razor blade bit was before when his son was looking at the catalogue.

The shot on that advert where it is overlooking

the picturesque Shropshire (?) village, was actually filmed in Gillingham (dorset). FACT.

The Apple Mac advert from 1984 announcing its arrival.

After shooting it Ridley Scott asked what Apple was anyway. He claims he was told (with some outrage) "It's a goddamn computer company!"

What about the old

OXO gravy ad's with the family from way back when.

I'M AN OFFICE WORKER so can't post a youtube link.

The old Wine Gums advert is indeed greet

as is the old Mr Soft advert for soft mints! Bring it back!

"You Know When You've Been Tangoed"

Voice of Gil Scott-Heron, fact fans.

The Bassett's Allsorts

ad where people's heads were Allsorts! Scared the shit out of me as a child
