Can anyone recomend me the best Mogwai album to purchase, i had alot of random songs from many albums on my old ipod and i liked them alot

I wouldn't bother with Mr Beast until you've got the rest though.

But yeah, Mr Beast is the weakest album I think.
You could live without
Kicking A Dead Pig.
I'd save
Kicking a dead pig (remix album) and the Zidane soundtrack til last. All the others are essential though. I'd start with Come On Die Young...
EP+6
has a good variety on it, its maybe a bit soft overall but it has some heavier ones in the middle. Its not technically an album, but its ten tracks long and I would still call it my favourite moggers album.
start with
the first album and work your way through chronologically.its the only way to do it.my favourite album by them is rock action but thats just me.however, type "you dont know jesus" into youtube and watch the live videos of that song.its my favourite mogwai song.its magical :)

Government Commissions
One of the greatest "best of" albums ever with a good mix (Apart from under representing Rock Action)from young team until happy songs and especially in the case of Helicon 1 these are definitive versions.

exactly what I would say- aside from that, rock action is the easiest 'proper' album to get into, tho they're all good.
The version of R U Still In To It?
is absolutely incredible as well.
God I love Mogwai

I think it's my favourite Mogwai CD. Superheroes of BMX and Like Herod make my knees go stupid.
