I'm really enjoying it and is the first album I've bought in a while that I can really imagine I'll still be listening to come the end of the year.

Anyone else have any thoughts on it?

I am looking forward to getting it though

It's worth the wait

Takes a couple of tracks to get going and tails off slightly toward the end but there's a run of songs from track 5 (i.e. Sixteen onwards) which more than make up for this...

yes

it's fucking amazing.

end

Mine arrived yesterday

so only able to hear half of it this morning. Excellent stuff, although I worry slightly about the production.

wot's wrong

with the production? brian o'shaughnessy dun it. being the man who also produced this:

that's fine by me.

Seriously?

:D

It does sound like a West End Musical in places (Stars and the new version of New Art for the People, for example). I actually really like the fact it sounds like a West End Musical in places though...

yes, brian's finest moment. haha.

i think the thing what puts a lot of people off the indelicates is the 'west end musical' side of things.

I didn't know this existed.

I shall buy the bones outta this. Merci beacoup Hawkinho x

Hawkinho is a good name. You should consider changing it.

links for the lazy anyone

Love the Paul Hawkins & Thee Awkward Silences version of Vladimir...

This should tell you where to get it:

Singles and videos and stuff are on Youtube and the usual places...

is this band big?

one of them added me on facebook because they thought they knew me but er didn't in the end.

I should check them out then ey? as you all seem to be "buzzin'off it"...

ARE this band big?

sorry

Not huge by any means...

They've got a bit of following through gigging and have played SXSW and places but they've not (to my knowledge) had much media or radio coverage. I just happen to really like 'em (and presumably a few other people do from the thread).

If you want to check them out www.myspace.com/theindelicates is their myspace I think, if not it'd be www.myspace.com/indelicates.

Aye

The Myspace is the first one...

they're actually

pretty good, preeeetty preeeeeeeeeeeeettttyyy good!

I think I'll be purchasing myself that album!

best thing ive heard all year

and going to see them in Manchester on Thursday, Life is sweet..

all going 'well'

and you get there early, you will also see ME playing bass in the support band.

it's only 3 quid before 8 so

was going to get there early anyway, I look forward to seeing your bass action!

Excellent album. I saw them

play last night at Madame JoJo's. Great set too. Did anyone else go?

The album is

amazing.

The gig last night was ace.

They're just a great band.

I'm traveling all the way to Manchester to watch them, and to see Adie play a bass solo :-)

so you're ok then?

so, like, we're still playing? you don't have a massive tube sticking out of your arse or anything? i get to get drunk in manchester? good.

Yep,

it's all good.

I have a tube in my stomach, I think I shall miss it when it's gone.

or not.

oh good

maybe i'll stay in tonight then to practise my amazing bass solo.
