Superb gig despite there being only 20 or so people there! The Winchell Riots have defenitely picked up where Fell City Girl left off!

The new sound is more 'electronica' based but still carries the same epic guitar sound alongside Phil's unmistakeable voice! Highlights for me included 'Hymn 24'?, 'Histories' and 'Red Square'.

Phil was full of energy as usual and almost smashed his guitar on the pillar in the middle of the stage a few times! Like me, he couldnt believe how silent the place was between songs. At least the few people that were there were intent on listening to the band rather than chat amoungst themselves! Oh, and I managed to grab a copy of their single 'Histories' while I was there too.

I would defenitely recommend trying to see this band on their current tour, especially if you liked Fell City Girl previously. Check out their myspace site....
