it's basically about this tv presenter and her cameraman going to interview and watch firemen at work around midnight.
the firemen get a call to go to this apartment where a woman is locked in and screaming inside so the presenter and cameraman tag along but when they get there they discover things are a little more dramatic than they thought and then everyone in the building gets locked in and "quarantined" because there is a virus affecting people inside.
it's essentially a zombie film in a sort of 28-days-later-gets-locked-in-a-flat style.
it was released in 2007 apparently, so I guess that was in Spain or something.
there's an American remake being released this year, I'm going to go see it but I am pretty sure already that it's going to be awful and not even half as good as this one was.
I thought it was rather great actually. Pretty jumpy. Not completely plausible, but it felt more naturalistic than most similar films and who cares anyway.
it was fairly great actually.
nice introduction of the characters...bit of humanising...bit of 'weak' horror at the front to make you think you're ok...then that diamond last thirty minutes kicked my ass.
loved it.
nowhere near how actually scary 'the orphanage' is though...
Is this the one about the
teapot that tells stories to children?
:D
The Italian film?
There's been preview shows on Sky the last week or so, but I haven't seen all of one. What's it all about?
A.....Teapot

is it not spanish?

I'm generally never scared by films
but this one had me a bit creeped out, some jumpy bits were a bit too predictable but I felt the tension throughout most of it.
what did you make of the end creature?

it was a bit rubbish
presumably CGI. Not sure why they had to use it at the end.
