The title track has found its way onto the interweb!

What does everyone make of it? It's interesting (in a good way), but it doesn't sound like much effort's gone into it on ScarJo's part...

DiScuss.

hmmm

i can't say i care for the production much. the second verse onwards is a bit better, it sounds a bit like an early nineties baz luhrman film song sort of affair.
for some strange reason i had high hopes for this album. i'm not totally sold at the minute but i'm still interested to hear the rest.

phew

that stinks.

It's like Kelly Osbourne.

meh

her voice does sound quite buried beneath all the business of the production. the production actually feels quite saccharine. maybe a little too much? it feels like they're really trying to make tom waits mainstream, when he'll always be perfect as he is.

upon a second listen, it doesn't really sound much like a song, actually. it just feels like washes of sound drifting over and over, not really going anywhere.

If it wasn't for that annoying as fuck synth beat

it might be good...I dunno. Meh.

yeah

having never heard the original i think this is alright, i quite like the sound of her voice.
