I am doing a last minute mailout for my band and trying to remember everything! Obvious - NME, Artrocker, DiS etc.

But in terms of print zines etc. can you guys recommend any others? I'm thinking Loud And Quiet, Bearded, House Of Tracks sort of size.

Or fashion mags like Pop etc. that might also have music pages.

Off the top of my head, I can only think of

i-D, and free mags such as FACT or The Stool Pigeon.

Hope that helps.

PLAN B!

PLAN B. They rock, don't forget plan b.

Don't forget stateside

Every once in a while we like to cuddle a Brit band...

CMJ Magazine. Well, that's all I kin think of just now. There're lots of LA Weekly type local newspaper/mags with an indie bent which might be inclined to write yer band up...

Rock Sound

You could try

Dummy, Clash, The Fly, The Wire (depending on what you sound like).

Kruger Magazine

Based in Cardiff (I think) and very good.

Hi James

Plan B
Artrocker
Stool Pigeon
The Fly
House of Tracks
OMM
Dazed and Confused
Kruger
365mag
the-mag
Playground
A-P
Source
Vice

then your kerrang, nmes, rock sounds, Q, Word, Clash, etc

there's loads of websites I could list ya...x

if you're a small band, I'd concentrate in the online sector and once you've got some press off them, then approach the print ones, you can then rip off quotes from the online ones.

good taste in music btw.
