i hope so.

the last album was a cracker.

next time i get paid im buying a lemon jelly album

which to buy?i like "nice weather for ducks" is that on the best album?

You should get the debut - collection of the first eps

it has the excellent His Majesty King Raam on.

I just wish they'd release some of those early Breezeblock mixes from back in the day... my tape copies are running thin.

Ducks

Is on 'Lost Horizons' , the first proper album, along with the ace 'Ramblin Man' but I agree you should start at the beginning with lemonjelly.ky , then progress. I too wish Breezeblocks were more readily available...

Fred Deakin is on Planet Sound today

where it says they've amicably split and Nick already has a kind-of-solo album out.

Whut?!

What kind of solo album? Not like the Triptych I hope, that was waaaayyyy too long and complex and all over the shop for my ears.

Blimey

That's a bit different, but I am tempted.

I remember

at Leeds a couple of years ago they said it would be their last show but I shrugged it off at the time.

Weird

i was listening to their debut album this morning on the way to work for the first time in years. Blacksand sounds good though, might look into that a bit more.

apparently

one of their albums has a 'golden ticket' in it where you can win Blacksand playing in your house...

I saw that

From the sounds of things you would get a good smoke up before they came round. Its a real trippy atmospheric sound they’ve got going. I’m liking it, might even try get myself that golden ticket and a big bag of weed.

I saw that thing on Planet Sound

saying they'd split (or at the very least, are taking a very long break). A shame really, the collection of their EPs was nice, Lost Horizons was great and there are some excellent songs on 64-95 .
