The Guitar Hero thread made me remember this. It looks pretty exciting but the whole package costs 180 pounds or something!
Completely ridiculous and double what it is in the US. Rip-off Britain and that.
And surely you'd be better off buying a crappy guitar and amp and an Argos drum kit for the same price?
Will anyone actually buy this? Can you use Guitar Hero guitars in it?

It's far too expensive...

but it would still be the most amazing thing in the world to own it. I dunno if you could use the Guitar Hero Guitars as it's made by competing games companies...

You can use GH guitars

And it is hideously expensive but at least you have a release date for it. Also I think it would be more fun than having real instruments for unmusically talented people because you could probably have lots of fun bashing something out on esy with your mates than making a horrible noise with some real instruments.

Oh and it will cost more here.

Advice: apparently don't buy the guitars as they are crappy. In fact apparently all the peripherals are. I'm planning on just getting the game and drums and using GH guitar and possibly getting a USB mic if necessary.

My friends went to that big games expo

at Wembley about a month ago.

They entered the Rock Band contest for a laugh and ended up winning it, they each won a full Rock Band set-up plus an Xbox each.

The great thing is, they all owned an Xbox anyway so I now have a free Xbox!
