Whilst Alopecia is easily one of the best albums of the year
I still perfer Subtles and Fleet Foxes efforts & I think of Montreal could also top it.

The new Subtle album is the best album so far
But I would imagine it being beaten. There are many great bands releasing albums this year.

is really not that good, I don't get all the love at all.
I can't see Portishead's album being bettered this year, just by the laws of averages about how often a record that good comes around. Less often than once a year, that's for sure.
