my zine - Mystery - has a new issue...
featuring, among many other things, interviews with
LIFE WITHOUT BUILDINGS
JOHNNY FOREIGNER
& BROKEN RECORDS.
it looks a bit like this:

would anyone like one?
details at www.myspace.com/mysterymagazine
can i suggest this...
someone with an eye for layout should lay it out
what do you mean by that?
the layout is generally just two columns to a page, it's nothing too complex..
but er, yeah, I don't have a degree in graphics or anything..
well done for your brilliant contribution to the world there.
Harsh
It takes real energy and dedication to put any kind of fanzine together, so hats off to Penguinzz. The detractors here are probably just bitter because they couldn't muster such effort or creativity.
i think guntrip was replying to imyourfriend...
I shall also buy one! #;d
^ i COMPLETELY disagree with this.
I love the look of the layout, it looks really classic and oldskool. Don't change it. A zine shouldn't be all colour and shiny and include a book review for no reason at all, it should purposely look and feel DIY.
^
i agree with twee. it looks super.
agreed
agree
ooh!
yes please :) i'll msg through the myspace.
x
How much?
There's a paypal button on the myspace
I HOPE THIS IS GOING TO BE GOOD.
Come on, it's only 50p.
and you can post the cash, which i think's fantastic.
do it....
life without buildings gubbins. exciting!
I think
my friend writes for your zine. Good stuff.
oh hey!
your zine added me on myspace a while ago! and i meant to say hello, but never got round to it cos i never use myspace. i might buy one, yay!
I just purchased one
yay!
cool
i like how you put stuff online too, i asked a zine recently to do the same and they basically told me to fuck off.
haha!
i think can guess who you're talking about there! (as i used to write for it!) each to their own. i'd prefer a proper zine to an online one in some cases.
indeed
but if your zine's sold out then why not put some of the articles on the internet for people to read? It's in the best interests of the publication and the internet age of "try before you buy".
definitely.
it's really quite simple to knock a PDF up and Sendspace it.
hey!
i'm not the editor! well, i thought it was a useful idea to put certain articles of the zine online. as you say try before you buy. i happen to buy a lot of punk zines and prefer them to be paper and anyway, punk is diy haha!
x
sorry
didn't mean 'you' in a personal sense, more in a general sense applying to anyone and everyone. I'm not sure that even makes sense but I was just making a general point!
oops.
haha! sorry. :P
hello folks!
thanks for showing an interest, especially to those who have purchased a copy!
may I also draw yr attention to www.myspace.com/freakkingdomproject - who're a really good zine.
