just because you have a reputation for putting on crazy gigs, it doesn't mean you can get on stage and ruin his equipment. that punch was stunning - it made me so happy.
The first time i heard about him was watching a live show on Pitchfork.tv where, at one point, he threatened to punch someone in the face if they touch his stuff.... then this. The guy deserved it though, don't get me wrong. These lunks who just prance around on stage, stomping on pedals thinking they're punk rock need to be punched repeatedly in the face and taught a lesson.
if you're already playing insanely energetic angry music and then people start destroying your stuff and jumping on you then most people would do the same thing.
we know!

It's safe to say that Reatard is a bit highly strung

The promoter was a complete creep too.
thing is
if you're already playing insanely energetic angry music and then people start destroying your stuff and jumping on you then most people would do the same thing.
that's the kind of punch
you wish you could deliver when someone pisses you off, but it never could happen.
Nah
Not enough backlift.
I always thought
that he was punk rawk and didn't give a fuck about anything.
However...
I just read his blog post and understand where he is coming from.
