I love the handclaps! I'm insisting they get used in at least 3.75 tunes that my band do.

Off the top of my head all I can think of is Stephen Malkmus - Phantasies....for now

The Murder Of... used to have some nice handclap stuff live from what I remember.

the kiss-offs' 'love you hardcore'. not actually the finest or most indiosyncratic handclaps ever recorded - not even remotely in fact - but the song is great, and It Has Handclaps. which crushes the principles of this thread indifferently underfoot, but never mind.

Erm i dont think he is, i think its more likely to be the kenickie track seeing as that came out at about the same time as kung fu, as opposed to the vines who were a good four or five years later.

That has to your classic handclap. Some say a little boring, but it's still my favourite. And it's easy to do! so you can clap along even if you're really drunk and have no rhythm.

Anything that uses those ones. Maybe some Beatles stuff?

How can no one have mentioned the claps in the Arcade Fire's Rebellion? Not a major part of the song admittedly but sound great all the same.
